18.7 – Korpo Philosophy day
WHAT IS HAPPENING TO CIVIL SOCIETY MOVEMENTS AND ACTIVISM? How have civil society movements shaped our society – and what role do they play today? During the day, Toivo Jokkala, Be Nordling and Jan Rundt discuss the history of popular movements, civil disobedience, and the changing nature of activism in an era of global issues and social media. How can we, as active citizens, meet the challenges of the future and preserve a vibrant democratic public debate?
25.7 – Korpo Sea Jazz
The Korpo Sea Jazz Festival culminates on Saturday, 25 July at the Archipelago Centre Korpoström. The programme features free concerts, jam sessions, and the festival’s main concert. Come and spend the whole day immersed in jazz at the Archipelago Centre Korpoström! Tickets can be purchased in advance through Tiketti.fi.
27.7 – Jakten Eugenia: open deck
Eugenia is coming for a visit at the Archipelago Centre Korpoström on Monday, 27 July, and will host an open deck during the morning for everyone interested. Come aboard to learn more about the vessel, its history, and the traditions of sailing!
6.8 – She’s Leaving Home
The distinctive and highly acclaimed Beatles tribute band She’s Leaving Home returns to the Archipelago Centre! Performing the Beatles’ timeless classics with a fresh twist, the band takes the stage at 7:00 PM. The concert is free of charge.
29.8 – Duo Maans & Mellberg
Celebrate the Night of the Ancient Bonfires with an evening of archipelago atmosphere, nostalgia, and swing as Marianne Maans and Bosse Mellberg perform folk songs, traditional fiddle music, and beloved evergreen classics at 8 pm. The concert is free of charge.
